The Forensic Pod™ ‘Vehicle’ is intended to fill the entire rear passenger compartment of a vehicle.
Available as a custom fit for specific vehicles, or as an off the shelf generic fit compatible with most saloon/estates.
This pod version comes in a flat pack package approx 500mm x 500mm x 60mm. It can be transported covertly prior to deployment and/or stored in a vehicle for spontaneous use.
The pod can be erected in as little as 60 seconds and is held in place by a number of polyester coated fibreglass rods and Velcro. Each pack also contains seatbelt sleeving, 2 x supplementary rods should the vehicle roof lining not accept Velcro fixings, and an aide memoir for fitting.
The pod has a fully opening zipped door at either end and a zipped access port and mesh window in the front section. There are 4 x seatbelt slots which are supplied closed from the factory but can be opened by separating the Velcro closure. The 4 slots allow for the use of up to 3 seatbelts in the rear seating area.
